i've made up my mind.

i shall not buy any clothes or do any shopping from today onwards until my mum says this to me: xy! its time to get your new year clothes~!

because.
i bought another top from fox again-_-

felt really guilty at first but its just so pretty ~~~!
i bet i'll feel even more guilty not buying it though..

so well, i made this promise to myself.
no more new clothes till mum announced its time for new yr shopping~!

hmm..

more things i discovered today(besides the urgent need to curb my shopping desire)
1. dyna is not going to produce that damned physics book till march or june.
2. i should really start chionging hw n stop procrastinating.
3. aloe vera is actually bitter!!!

omg. 1 & 2 is still acceptable...
BUT ALOE VERA IS BITTER?

mum n i bought this huge aloe some weeks ago..
and today she cut it open.

to her and my horror,
it tasted ridiculously bitter.
worse than bittergourd.

"has it turned bad?" asked my mum.

"i'll go check it on the net."

its turns out that....

"Aloe Vera has a bitter taste which can be unpleasant in the raw state. It is possible to get used to the taste of plain Aloe Vera gel, but if you can't the addition of some fruit juice helps to make it more palatable."


ok.. the good news is, we werent consuming something that turned bad(and positively poisonous)

bad news... how am i gonna get use to that ugly taste?




so ended up: we start using the gel and juice as face cream and hand cream.

and i used the remaining bit of juice to treat my horribly itchy mozzie bite.
it turns out quite well actually..

hmm.. still veh shocking leh,
or maybe its just that im too noob,(so is my mum)
ugh.. that disgusting taste..
i always thought aloe vera is a very nice lovely plant..
esp when eaten with yoghurt..


i should really read more widely.
